DB Photography: Graffiti Denim Art Show 12.28.10

What's up, everyone?! I've been lagging on this! I hope you all are having a good new year so far. I've been pretty busy with training at this new job so I haven't really been able to update or even do mini sessions! Nonetheless, I'm very excited because there's so much for me to look forward to this year! Been going through lots of changes, but I'm still thankful for everything. I have learned that if you want something bad enough, you will get it.

Anyway, one of my friends DJ Kid Riz throws art show events at this place called Bar Basic in downtown San Diego. And to end the year 2010, Riz hosted the Graffiti Denim Art Show. This was the most busy I've seen his art show. I guess it had a lot do with the $200 cash prize that was to be given out to the cypher king/queen in the circle that night. Sure enough, the place was filled with bboys/dancers and it was poppin'! The Rock So Fresh fam was there, as well as Roxrite of Renegade Rockers a.k.a. Mr. Bboy of the Year (Outbreak 6). Also Reveal of Killafornia was there to show some support for his brotha Riz and of course, to show off some skills on the dance floor. It was such a fun night. Very urban and underground. A couple of friends who I invited to the show said it was like being in the movie "Step Up" and honestly, it was! Ha! I love my RSF/SD Hip Hop fam! Check out the photos!
